This program is funding short term educational projects that provide for community participation in natural resource management or cultural awareness learning activities.  Project milestones align with those of the Community Support program and deliver capacity building outputs.

Nine projects were selected from fifty applications for funding, spread across the region. Recipients receive in-kind support from local councils including the provision of equipment, professional supervision and administration support, while state government departments are providing accredited training and employment opportunities.
