This joint HNCMA and SMCMA project aims to encourage and facilitate the enhanced management of significant remnants of endangered ecological communities of the Cumberland Plain on private land through a targeted incentive based program. Sites will be targeted based on an assessment of those areas considered likely to make the best long term contribution to conservation on the Cumberland Plain. Funded activities include assisted natural regeneration, fencing of remnants, weed control, riparian restoration, selected plantings as appropriate, rubbish removal and other actions at targeted sites.

There will be ongoing monitoring of on-ground activities and response of remnants to management actions over the life of the project.
